Technical Proposal Engineer

As a Technical Proposal Engineer, you will accurately map out their requirements together with the customer and translate these into the most suitable technical solutions. You will be responsible for preparing quotations, developing design plans, performing cost price calculations and drawing up the scope of work. Every project is unique, from designing a greenhouse in the Dubai desert to optimising an existing greenhouse in Canada. This variety makes your role exciting and dynamic, with international challenges that engage you on a daily basis and provide a stimulating working environment.

• In this role, the Technical Sales Proposal Engineer is responsible for the design and proposal process. The aim is to produce a proposal that meets the customer's requirements as efficiently as possible;
• Ensuring that construction-related calculations and calculations are performed accurately;
• Designing, defining and configuring new and existing products;
• Identifying and monitoring bottlenecks and risks in own planning and project planning;
• Contributing to creating support and connection with the internal organisation, suppliers, customers and partners;
• Informing your immediate colleagues about the plans and their implementation.

• You have technical HBO work and thinking level e.g. Technical Business Administration or Civil Engineering;
• Preferably, you have 1-2 years' work experience in a similar technical position;
• Good command of Microsoft Excel is a plus;
• Affinity with construction engineering and/or greenhouse construction is an advantage;
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
