(Junior) Planner Technical Designer

PDI has specialised in supplying and assembling screen installations worldwide for 40 years, focusing on sustainable solutions and expert knowledge. For the work preparation department, we are looking for a new colleague who will make technical drawings, draw up bills of materials and follow the project from design to execution. You will work together with sales, calculation and project leaders to ensure the process runs smoothly.

• You will be responsible for developing the technical drawings, bills of materials and statement of work for a project;
• You are the custom designer and draw production drawings;
• You can convert issues to AutoCad;
• You take care of the procurement of necessary materials;
• You stay connected throughout the project;
• You are the liaison between salespeople and project managers;
• You ensure that the entire process runs smoothly and flawlessly;
• You collaborate with the sales and estimation department.

• MBO4 working and/or thinking level (towards engineering/mechanical engineering);
• Experience and knowledge with AutoCad ( Inventor is an advantage);
• You are comfortable with computers and feel at home in the digital age;
• Good command of Dutch and English, German is an advantage;
• You stand firmly on your feet and will not shy away from a challenge;
• Communicative, proactive and stress-resistant;
• Flexible and service-oriented attitude;
• You have an eye for innovations in installation technology;
• You think in terms of solutions and are result-oriented.
