I am Rob de Jong and have been working as a project manager at KUBO for six years now. I have worked for years as a self-employed radish grower and also gained a lot of experience as an international cultivation consultant. I can put that knowledge to good use at KUBO. The best thing about my job? Supervising innovative, high-tech projects and building personal relationships with customers. It is truly a privilege to work on beautiful projects with enthusiastic colleagues at home and abroad. The flat organisational structure and accessibility within KUBO make it extra special for me. Despite the growth and our global success, the no-nonsense mentality remains central. That is exactly what makes us strong!
Every year we organise National Lifeboat Day, a great moment when we show people what we do, and how important our work is. All this is only possible through the unconditional commitment and passion of volunteers who selflessly dedicate themselves at the risk of their own lives.
KUBO supports KNRM by providing such volunteers who are allowed to leave their workplace immediately in the event of alarms, likewise committed as proud Reder of the station in Ter Heijde, and is thus financially committed to ensuring everyone's safety at sea.
Whether on the football pitch, in the KNRM board, or at KUBO -> connecting and cooperating are most important to me.
It gives great satisfaction to achieve great results together with others and at the same time be able to give something back to our local community.
